Canada July jobless rate off to 7.2% vs June 7.4%

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Canada's unemployment rate dipped to 7.2% in July from 7.4% in June, the government reported. However, employment growth flattened out on a month-to-month basis, following three straight months of increases. For the 12 months through July, employment in Canada showed 1.5% growth, or 252,000 positions, to a total base of nearly 17.4 million. Private-sector job growth was offset by cuts in the public sector last month, according to Statistics Canada.

By cutting public sector jobs, and adding private sector jobs, the unemployment rate dips!
Great news for all conservatives who have been blasting the common sense of limited governemnt and 'freeing the economy'. Keep it up!
